Gray Tennessee Walking Horse stallion that had
a show career. His big
contribution to the Missouri Fox Trotting breed is
as sire to Sterling Merry Boy to whom so many Fox
Trotters trace today. Sterling Silver was by Top Wilson
by Wilson's Allen by the great Roan Allen. His dam
was Kerby's Lady Lou by Byrom's Allen, by Merry Boy.
Sterling Silver had direct lines going back to the
Hal line of trotter/pacer and also had direct lines
going back to the old Thoroughbred lines. His pedigree
can be traced on many lines all the way back into
the 1600's.

Silver Sam was a chestnut, roaned sabino with a light
mane and tail. He was one of the first Foxtrotters
taken into Wyoming in th early 1960's by Richard Heny
of Powell.
